Don't Be Deceived ' ::' The age of technology has been beneficial in every area of life and to some degree maybe not so good in others. There was a time when detective work involved; I suppose a lot more we could :: say skilled common sense, C~,apdChurch like the old Columbo and Kojack daysI Now through DNA and ! ..... . such advanced technology things it would seem are a lot [! : quicker and more definite in I crime solving. Years ago, I once heard .......... from an investigator that cer- tain crimes like arson and such were among the hard- est to prove, and that most often those criminals catch themselves by continuing to ptish one more time. "I'm getting away with it." This attitude and foolish thinking will. eventually get them caught. Greed has caused so much trouble and destroyed so many lives. Sin may fit the same file. One morning, a Christian man on his way to the office noticed the flash.of a itraft~ic camera. Figuring he was tracked by radar on camera for speeding, he noticed his speedometer and discovered he was actually below the speed limit. He decided to go around the block and try again going even slower, same flash. "Wow," he thought as he went around the block and through the camera a total of five times. His pace was that of a snarl on his last round. Laughing and thinking he was getting away with some- thing, he went on to work bragging, I suppose of his experiment. But, two weeks later, he got five tickets in the mail for "no seat belt." Let's be careful and remember doing wrong things may appear to have no effect and even be humorous; but in the~nd,,the.penalty ~. awaits. .'~on~ ll~ss ~ This W~d" Episcopal 101 Classes Offered Episcopal 101 class has been so popular; St. Nicholas is going to continue to offer it on a monthly basis.
